love it - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
By donny190 - March 16 - 2:00 amI love this car i ahve two grand children and i live with them. We have two dogsa and i hated that hard to get out secong and third row seat. now i can take the dogs to the doctors with ease. I love the stow and go feature it is the greatest. I like the way it handels and how much storage space u have on the inside. i looked at the odyseey and freestar and the quest the quest was winning because of the second row fold away system but when i saw the comercial i went to the dealer and loved it. on christmas eve this will come in handy for looking at christmas lites altogether in something smaller then my daughters suburban.

Kids Love the Rear Seat Video! - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
By boblor3 - March 11 - 10:00 amDodge continues their excellence with the 2005 Grand Caravan. Its a joy to drive this vehicle. The kids love the rear seat video . . . they have never been so quiet on trips, short or long! The automatic side doors and rear hatch are way cool! We like the Butane Blue we got (almost got Inferno Red), but the other available colors are a bit blaw.

Brand New - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
By stanhan - March 6 - 10:00 amJust bought this van yesterday and am really impressed with it. After driving imports it surprised me how much thought was put into the interior features of the car. It has a lot to offer for the money. They try to make use of every bit of the car for storage and convenience items. The car has so many features it is sometimes unintuitive to control things on the instrument panel. Im sure that has a lot to do with the fact that I just bought it. From what I can tell I got a screaming good deal and I highly recommend my dealer. They were extremely nice and low pressure but provided me an "EBay" price over the phone. The car was delivered to my door.

Grand Caravan Lemon - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
By beast - February 12 - 4:00 amPurchased this vehicle new. Worst vehicle I have ever owned in my life. AC gone 6 times, airbag sensors 4 times, tie rods last 35000 miles, stow & go and all interior fittings are poor quality, steering rack gone at 80,000 miles, alternator gone at 35,000 miles, belt tensioner gone at 35,000 miles and the list goes on and on. Do not buy one of these vehicles. No wonder the North American auto industry is in trouble

Yes, I read the other reviews, but this van wont die! - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
By paulsnj - November 17 - 1:36 pmI bought this van certified used in Jan of 2008 with 47,000 miles on the clock after my lovely 2002 Chrysler Town and Country Limited was wrecked parked in front of my house. So I gained Stow N Go and Sirius radio in the dash but lost my leather seats and pimped out factory chrome spoke wheels. That being said, the trans had to be rebuilt and/or worked on three times the first two years, all under certified warranty and all I had to pay was one $100 copay. Since then, no issues at all except for a left power sliding door that works off and on, and a front end that badly needs a complete rebuild. I am on the original timing belt, shocks, and struts and just turned 175,000 miles.

Ugh! - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
By bubbaroo - November 8 - 10:56 amWe bought this vechile just under two years ago. The tranny has never felt right, but they insist it is normal. Is it normal to roll back on a hill, I dont think so! As of today, I have had to replace brakes, bearings and steering column. That is the one that really gets me. Its an obvious factory defect, the seal went, and because Im 5000 over warranty mileage on a 2 year old car, Chrysler/Dodge will not even help out with the repair a little. As much as I love the stow and go and the ride, I will not buy another Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep product. They do not stand by their product nor do they help their customers. Spend your money somewhere else, I know we will!

Satified so far - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
By Yeoman Chief - October 17 - 7:03 amI have had the vehicle for about a month. We really love the van. Roomy interior. Stow-n-go is very helpful with twin boys. Ride is comparable to some sedans that I have driven. I did have to take to the shop to get the emergency brake line connected. It was never connected at the plant. Also I have noticed some of the areas behind the panels and door jams do not have the same level of paint as on the exterior of the van. Overall I am pleased with the vehicle. Hopefully no other items will come up.

THE RIGHT MINIVAN - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
By GRYMDSNPPR - September 16 - 10:00 amI WAS VERY HAPPY WITH MY 2004 GRAND CARAVAN SE. REMOVING THE SEATS WAS THE ONLY REAL INCONVIENCE. WHEN I SAW THE ON LINE ADDS FOR 2005 WITH STOW & GO SEATING I HAD TO SEE IT. i BOUGHT ONE VERY SOON AFTER SEEING ONE FOR THE FIRST TIME. MY OLD VAN ONLY HAD 58,000 MILES. A BABY BY MY STANDARDS. I USUALLY RUN MY VEHICLES 150,000 TOO 200,000+ MILES BEFORE CHANGING. THE STOW AND GO SEATS HAVE BEEN JUST WHAT I NEEDED. THE VAN HAS BEEN TROUBLE FREE SO FAR. MY FORTH CHRYSLER BRAND MINIVAN AND THE BEST SO FAR. THE LAST ONE WAS VERTUALLY TROUBLE FREE.

Love It - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
By thumperl - August 4 - 10:00 amOnly had the van 2 months but just love the sto and go seats, Have the back up option and all the other bells and whistles I could get. Would recommend highly. The only thing that could be changed is the electric passenger seat should have as many adjustments as the driver seat. The more I drive the better the gas milage gets. It is just great.

Nice features, but engine and tranny bad - 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan
By Brian - July 8 - 7:46 pmThe visible parts of the car are great. The body is good, the interior fit and finish is good, the "Stow n Go" is great, the engine is plenty powerful. I like the car for its features. Mechanically, I am extremely disappointed. There is a constant rubbing sound coming out of the front- left upper strut mount over even little bumps, the engine uses about 3.5 quarts of oil between oil changes (3000 miles), the transmission clunks (and the car jumps) when down-shifting when you take your foot off the gas. I have reported these issues numerous times, but the "factory rep" keeps telling me that they are within design specs and wont fix it. Give me a break! No more Dodges for me!
